The “JDRF Celebrity Golf Classic with Buffalo Sabre Cory Conacher” is one of Western New York’s finest charity golf events. In 2013, more than 120 golfers came out to tee-it-up for the kids. Presented by LocalEdge, last year’s event brought the cumulative total to more than $1.8 million since the event’s inception in 1994. Once again, the event is expected to sell-out early! Please join local sports and media celebrities as well as other successful business leaders from Western New York, Southern Ontario and surrounding regions. Funds are raised through sponsorships, golfer fees, auctions and on-hole contests. 

The “JDRF Celebrity Golf Classic” has attracted sponsorship from companies such as: LocalEdge, Dopkins and Co., Dirixion, UpState Pharmacy, HSBC Bank USA, The Buffalo Sabres, Mader Construction, Upstate Pharmacy, Matrix Imaging, Aesthetic Associates Centre, West Herr Ford, Integrity Distribution, Lawley Service, Wells Fargo, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and Tops Markets, among others. Last year, The Golf Classic, with over 120 golfers and celebrities representing 40+ corporations and individual families, raised much needed funds for diabetes research.
